Who am I? That is a good question, that when seriously asked, deserves a good answer. I will do my best.

I am Danielle Cox, but that is just a name. I am also David Cox. Here is how it works: I am physically a man. As near as I can tell, I am mentally a woman. I always have been, and I suspect I always will be. What does this mean? Well, with a few exceptions, if there is a male way of thinking and a female way, I think the female way. I have always longed to interact with people as a female. I try to live as a female as much as my circumstances allow.

Being transgendered is an important part of who I am, but it is just a part. If you like, you can read more about that part of my state of mind.

I think you can learn a lot about a person by looking at what they like to do. That is a long list with me. I enjoy learning. I usually pick things that interest me and that I will get something out of. For example, I learned to juggle, in part, because I had no hand-eye coordination. Here is the list of the latest hobbies/projects that I have. I have also created a page of my favorites in different categories.

I have several friends that are very important to me. I think this is another important piece in the puzzle that is me. Brenda is the most important person in my life. Michele is the best friend that I have ever had. My friend Revy is another really good friend with whom an immediate connection was made. Lauren is the person the most like me that I have ever met.

Getting to know someone is a complicated process that can take a lot of time. This page is a snapshot of where I am today, both physically and mentally. The next, equally important section, is a description of the long, sometimes hard, road that I have traveled to get here.
