Adventures in Daniland

Wouldn't it be nice if we could all go out and have fun adventures every day and then come home, get comfy and write about them by the fireplace?

Unfortunately, everyday is not an adventure and I had to leave the fireplace back on vacation in Vancouver. However, I have had many wonderful experiences and hope to have plenty more.

I would like to be a writer when I finally grow up, so I have decided to write about these various events. I think a great way to get better telling stories is to start with those I know best.

I am proud that as of November, 1998, I am a monthly columnist for Transgender Forum!

In October 1997, I decided to visit some new friends, Desiree and Michele, at my alma mater. The excuse? A big football game. This article was published by TG Forum in October and has since been published in the Sooner Belle. Here is my story, hut, hut, hut!

In August 1997, I met my best friend ever. After going to Southern Comfort, I decided to tell my friend Michele. Since I had to work with her, this was pretty scary. It just made us closer! I wrote this article in February 1998

I recently spent a year working in Memphis, which required me to fly a lot. One trip was memorable above the rest. The flight happened in May, 1998. My article was published with the title "Airline Adventures".

In August 1998, I visited several friends in Southern California. My friend Lisa procured tickets at NBC for Revy and me to see Howie Mandell and Jay Leno. This adventure was just a whole lot of fun! (Plus I was on TV!)

For my first scheduled article, I decided to write about my first airplane experience. My First Flight occurred in April, 1997 and was published in December, 1998. I don't think it will be my last newsworthy flying experience!

My next two columns were inspired by my experiences in the Miss TGF '97 contest. January's column was about my Glamour Shots(tm) adventure. When I made the finals, I was in another spot as I needed two more pictures! After several more adventures and a half a dozen rolls of film, I was ready! A model was born!
